Kent Savage, Founder

Mr. Savage is a distinguished entrepreneur and CEO in the broadband internet and digital media arena. Prior to founding FameCast, Mr. Savage served in founding, CMO and CEO capacities with NetSpeed (Acquired by Cisco), NetPliance (IPO), TippingPoint (Acquired by 3Com) and Digital LifeStyles. Mr. Savage also serves as CEO of Nation State and is on the board of directors for Joe’s Jeans (NASDAQ: JOEZ). Mr. Savage has been recognized as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist and has been the guest on CNBC Squawk Box, CNN Financial News, Fox News with Neil Cavuto and Silicon Spin. Mr. Savage received his Bachelors in Business from Oklahoma State University, attended the University of Virginia’s Darden Business School Executive Leadership Program and received an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
Erik Smith, President

Erik Smith is President of FameCast Media. He joined FameCast from Metacafe, where he served as vice president of content and programming and was responsible for building media partnerships and developing an engaging content mix. Mr. Smith was responsible for the programming and business development strategy at MobiTV, where he lead the company’s mobile content efforts and negotiated content distribution relationships with leading media properties. Prior to MobiTV, Mr. Smith held executive programming positions at entertainment-focused technology companies including Digital Lifestyles Group, Liberate Technologies, Motive Communications, Sun Microsystems and DirecTV.
